Curated by
Jean-Jacques Aillagon

Jean-Jacques Aillagon, Managing Director of the Pinault Collection, was the curator of the exposition "Au-delà de la couleur" ("Beyond Colour"). An extensive selection of more than one hundred works, created by 57 French and foreign artists, many of which have never been shown in Pinault Collection exhibitions, explored the many practices in contemporary creation (painting, sculpture, sketching, photography, video and fashion). The exhibition invited visitors to reflect on the symbolism of black and white, the emotional resonance of these two colours and their ability to escort the most radical and minimal plastic experimentation.
