The works presented, fragments intersected between period heritage and contemporary creation, evoked the splendor of relic collections in large Western churches. The work of Camille Henrot, Damien Hirst, James Lee Byars, Giuseppe Penone, Huang Yong Ping and Günther Uecker rubbed shoulders with a neo-Gothic treasure and romantic symbol made in the 19th century by Alexandre Lenoir, containing the relics of Heloise and Abelard as well as documents related to the life of this legendary couple. It is thanks to Kering's patronage that this "national treasure" entered the collections of the National School of Fine Arts in Paris.

Attached to the dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation, and to the heritage of past centuries, the Pinault Collection offered visitors to discover, in the chapel of this architectural gem built in the 17th century, to what extent today's creators shape relentlessly future heritage.
