In 2004 he graduated from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts’ New Representationalism Studio, teaching there from 2005 to 2007 before focusing entirely on his career as a painter. His melancholy-tinged large formats in oil point to the deadly acceleration of urban flows and the loneliness of human beings. They are spaces for reflection on social problems, especially current living conditions in China.
