Like the lounge of a futuristic ship, Kai Althoff's immersive installation unfolds in a large, bright pink volume with welcoming curves. On two sides, it opens out onto a strange scene at the crossroads of architecture, sculpture and design. A miniature scaffold’s graphic structure is projected on a wall. A weird doll with long pink veils, overhanging a monolith in tart tones, seems to be in its centre.

Althoff's enigmatic installations return to the concept of total art. They constantly seek to offer viewers an explosive experience immersing them in a visual world dominated by colour and odd combinations of structures and volumes with undefined purposes.

Untitled was presented for the first time by the Pinault Collection during the major group show "Mapping the Studio" in 2009 at the Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi in Venice.
